Teacher Training 2018-2019

The Kernow Teaching School Alliance is a dynamic partnership of schools who, along with our partners the University of Exeter & the University of St Mark & St John, are offering graduates a one year Initial Teacher Training (ITT)School Direct PGCE programme (non-salaried) in both the Secondary and Primary phases.
We are looking for Primary - (Primary 3 -7 years & General Primary) trainees and Secondary trainees in the following curriculum areas: Drama, English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Music, Art and Design, Religious Education, Geography, History, Physical Education, Computer Science, Design & Technology, Psychology, Social Sciences, and Modern Languages.
We are also offering a specialist programme which will have an additional focus on teaching in an Alternative provision or Special School Setting. On this programme we have places in Primary, English, Maths Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
All our programmes are eligible for student loans. Trainees may also be eligible for a bursary or scholarship.
